HELP: DOB Off By 1 Day When Linked To Dentrix

SYMPTOMS

When linking the XrayVision application to Dentrix via the Dentrix DataDrill, the date-of-birth of the patient is off by one day.

CAUSE

And underlying change in the way Dentrix tracks the patient's DOB can result in the DOB being off by one day.

RESOLUTION

Download the latest Dentrix DataDrill update from Apteryx's web site.  Once installed, check to be sure that the following option is enabled:

1. Select DataDrill Options from the DataDrill option in the Database menu.

2. Double-click on the Dentrix option.

3. Enable the Birthdays need to be adjusted by a day option.
