HELP: Error "Someone has just deleted or merged ..."

SYMPTOMS

?Someone has just deleted or merged the patient patient.  This patient is a patient that you currently have open.  Since this patient is no longer valid and must be closed, it will automatically be removed from your desktop.?

CAUSE

This error message is displayed when working with a patient and is a result of the loss of connectivity to the networked location of the patient database.

Network connectivity loss interferes with XVa3?s ability to check the status of open patients with the patient database.  Depending on when the network connectivity is lost, XVa3 can sometimes be fooled by the operating system into believing that the indicated patient has been removed from the patient database.
