HELP: Microtek Will Not Correctly AutoScan X-rays

SYMPTOMS

When using the Automatically Acquire feature with a Microtek scanner, x-rays appear very dark and low contrast.  

CAUSE

The Microtek scanner is using a TWAIN driver that is not compatible with the Automatically Acquire feature.  

RESOLUTION

Install one of the compatible Microtek TWAIN drivers from the installation CD:

1. Insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.

2. When the installer is displayed, click on Extras.
   
   
    

3. Click on the appropriate Microtek TWAIN Update option and then click on the Install button.
