When trying to use the QuickRay USB-3 hardware with XrayVision, you receive a the following error dialog.

This problem can be caused by the following:
Improper hardware type specified in file INGXUSB.INI.
Out-of-date Win2K operating system.
Out-of-date USB chip-set driver.
The first setup is to update your operating system by selecting the Windows Update option of Windows. Please note that Apteryx had this problem on one of our Win2K computers and corrected the problem simply by upgrading the latest security patch (which seems like it is totally unrelated but with Microsoft, you never really know exactly all the details concerning what is in an update).
If you continue to have problems, make sure that the correct hardware type is specified in the INGXUSB.INI file in the main installation directory. To check and/or change the hardware type:
Open INGXUSB.INI file.
In the heading [BOARD], make sure that the proper TYPE is selected:
TYPE=0 ; if you use a DSX730 V1 (CUSBI V1) board.
TYPE=20 ; if you use a DSX730 V2 (CUSBI V2) board.
TYPE=1030 ; if you use a DSX730 V3 (CUSBI V3) board.
TYPE=30 ; if you use a DSX730 V3 Evolution (CUSBI V3 Evolution) board.
TYPE=1 ; if you use a UPIX V1 (CEZUSBI V1) board.
TYPE=21 ; if you use a UPIX V2 (CEZUSBI V2) board.
