HELP: The Display Flickers Wildly When Working With Images

SYMPTOMS

When working with images (i.e. resizing, panning, zooming) the display flickers wildly and I cannot see the image until you stop what you are doing.

CAUSE

The video driver is not 100% compatible with the graphics card that has been installed in the computer or there is some interference with the speed of updating the display.

RESOLUTION

In order to accommodate those system that do not have optimal display drivers or adapters.  Activate the alternate painting/drawing capabilities of XrayVision.  To activate this option:

1. Select Options from the Tools menu.

2. Click on the General tab.

3. Enable the Use alternate painting/drawing method to compensate for choppy displays option in the Alternate Painting/Drawing section.

4. Click on the OK button.
