HOWTO: Add Sensors For Each Digital X-ray System

Depending on your digital x-ray system, you may or may not be required to add sensors to the XrayVision software.  

NOTE: If you have a networked installation of XrayVision, you only need to add the digital sensor from one of the workstations.  Due to XrayVision's networked design, add the sensor from one workstation automatically makes that sensor available to all other computers on the network.

To add a new x-ray sensor to the software:

1. Select Add X-ray Sensor from the Sensor Utilities option in the Tools menu.

2. If you have more than one digital x-ray system installed, click on the appropriate digital x-ray system for which you will be adding the sensors.

3. Insert the indicated media into the specified drive.
   
   
    

4. Click on the OK button.

Digital X-ray Systems Requiring You To Add Sensors

The following digital x-ray systems require you to add sensors: Instrumentarium (both Ortho and Sigma product lines), Suni, MPDx, Ximage.
