Print X-Rays on Transparency Stock
Dr. Lawrence Kaye, Akron, Ohio
If you prefer, you can print x-rays onto transparency stock rather than
standard paper.
Some doctors with whom you work may prefer to receive transparencies
rather than paper. In some cases transparencies may be perceived to be
of higher quality than paper even though the image detail and quality
may be very similar.
Depending upon your printer, you may find that transparency printouts
produce an image that is darker or lighter than the comparable image printed
on standard paper. Experiment with your printer to determine whether you
need to set your brightness/contrast a little darker or lighter for transparency
printouts.
Transparency stock is available at most major office supply stores.
