INcontrol allows you to use either a "When Used" or "What's Left" methodology to track a warehouse's inventory (each warehouse can use either method). INcontrol tracks lot control information, product line usage, part usage, plus so much more. In addition to providing you with detailed usage reports, you also have detailed information on exactly what time (down to the minute) of what inventory was used. These time based usage reports have already been used to save millions of dollars in recalls.

The basic INcontrol setup uses an inexpensive Windows based PC with an optional Symbol Bar Code Scanner at a consigned inventory location. The warehouse personnel can scan the inventory as they use it or at a specified inventory time, or both. When the scanner is placed in its cradle, the scanned inventory is automatically downloaded to the INcontrol station.

As needed, the computer prints reports, checks to be sure that there are no mistakes in the inventory and then sends the scanned inventory to an INcontrol Server at your company's headquarters. INcontrol Server can be linked with your company's management software in order to provide automatic inventory picking tickets, orders, and billing.

The INcontrol system is easily customized to meet the specific needs of your company. In addition, the INcontrol system does not require an expensive server or an IBM AS400 system.
