INcontrol Client
Create, modify and delete inventories from an INcontrol Server.
For more information on the various aspects of the INcontrol
Client, click on the relevant link below.
INcontrol Client, a main part of the INcontrol System, contains
all of the main features and functions of the INcontrol System:
ordering, receiving, tracking, reporting, adjusting, posting, exporting,
and more..
Logging On - Log onto an INcontrol Server
When using the INcontrol Client, you
log into an INcontrol Server. Servers
are accessed via TCP/IP over an existing internet connection, whether
it is a T1, DSL, Cable, or even a conventional dial-up via modem.
Restrictions can exist when trying to log onto an INcontrol
Server as needed by the admin.
Interface
- Easy to navigate and customize
Reordering Toolbar Buttons
The vertical and horizontal toolbar buttons can be reordered in
order to permit you to customize the INcontrol
Client to fit your workflow.
Changing Inventories
You are able to switch back and forth between the different inventories
simply by clicking on a button. Inventory at your site can be tracked
with different inventory names for different suppliers to allow
flexibility and reduce redundancy in the inventories.
Reordering Columns
The various columns of information can be reordered on all of the
lists. INcontrol Client automatically
keeps track of the column order for each inventory accessed on the
system.
Sorting and Filtering Lists
Items in the lists can be sorted by clicking on the desired column
header. In addition to sorting the various lists, you also have
the option of limiting what items are displayed (which is referred
to as "filtering").
Automatically Refreshes the Lists
The system automatically detects when the various lists
need to be updated (i.e. someone else is working with the inventory),
but based on your system performance and actions, the system can
ignore the update. The various listings also can be updated at any
time manually.
Client And Vendor Part Numbers
Since you may be using different a labeling schemes for the part/items
than your vendor, you can switch between the client and vendor labeling
schemes. Throughout the program, you are provided with the option
of displaying the client or the vendor labeling for the various
parts/items in your inventory.
Inventory Views - Various views and lists concerning the currently
selected inventory.
The various views available for the current inventory can be displayed
by clicking on the Inventory Views button.
