INcontrol Server
Manages all info, including transactions, inventory, data security,
encrypted communications, login info and system logging.
The heart and soul of the INcontrol System. The server usually
resides at a Vendor location so it can be properly maintained and
guarded. This is where all the tranactions are sent and read from,
as well as general system administration. Inventory data is stored
here, and is sent and received via encrypted communications over
a standard continuous internet connection (T1, xDSL, Cable, ISDN,
etc.) The server also maintains logins, attempted logins and system
logs for administrative use.
