Used to download, process and submit shipments that have been scanned with a bar code scanner.  

Scanner Management

The INcontrol Vendor Shipping Client (VSC) has Scanner Management options to configure how your inventories will be managed.

Scanner Updates

After you modify the working inventories or settings in the Scanner Management options, you must update your scanner(s).  Most scanners will automatically update themselves from the VSC once the appropriate option has been selected on the scanner.

Download Scanned Shipments Automatically

Batch bar code scanners need to download their scans from time-to-time. Shipments are downloaded automatically from batch scanners simply by placing in the scanner's cradle that is attached to the computer running the VSC.

Reconcile Scanned Shipment Problems

After downloading the scanned transactions, INcontrol Vendor Shipping Client checks if there are problems in the downloaded transactions. VSC checks for invalid parts, items or invalid item scans. All errors are automatically indicated in the inventory listing.

Submitting Scanned Shipments To The Server

Once shipments have been downloaded and reconciled in the VSC, it is submitted to the INcontrol Server.

Manual Entry

VSC can also add transactions to the server through a Manual Entry option.
