What is SingleControl?
SingleControl (n) - A utility application by Apteryx,
Inc. that allows complete control of multiple PCs over a TCP/IP
network via a single host PC.
How does this work?
SingleControl enables automatic transfer of control between
different networked workstations, each running SingleControl as
a Windows Service* or as an application. Each PC and monitor operates
independently, but is still controllable by the master workstation
with its own keyboard and mouse.
The masters mouse travels freely between computers and monitors.
Simply move the mouse from one display onto the next to assume total
keyboard and mouse control over that CPU. One operator can use
and control multiple workstations with a single keyboard and mouse.
SingleControl essentially acts as a virtual keyboard/mouse switch
(KM switch) to let a user control and use multiple PCs from a single
workstation via a simple software utility.
* SingleControl will run as a Windows Service only on Windows
2000 or XP.
